I’m joining Donna’s (What the Redhead Said) Living Arrows link up this year, but, typically me, I was late and missed last weeks! However, I plan on making a conscious effort to join in every week from now on in. It’ll be great to look back on and see how much Alfie has grown as the year goes by.
The Living Arrows linky is a place to share photos that capture a moment of childhood. If there’s one thing I want to do this year, it’s to take more photos of Alfie and write down more of the memories we share. I feel like I lost sight of what I wanted my blog to be last year, so I’m starting afresh for the new year.
Living Arrows #1
The first photo is our cheeky monkey sneaking some of my chocolate! The reality of parenting is that nothing is your own and you will always have a little person, who has the skills of a ninja, who’ll hunt you down whilst you sneak some chocolate.
Look at how proud he is! I’m a bit like Joey from Friends… I don’t share food. So I don’t blame him for looking so proud.
I adore his t-shirt too. It says “I still live with my parents”. Unfortunately you’ve got a while to go until you can move out…
Week 2’s photo captures one of Alfie’s favourite things to do… “Drive drive Daddy’s car”. It’s amazing how something so little can be such an adventure.
Every time we go to get in the car Alfie asks to drive. So when we are not in a rush, or we have a bit of time, we let him pretend to drive. It gets a bit loud, when he turns the radio up, and he can cause a bit of chaos with putting the wipers on or changing the direction of the mirrors. But, he is using his imagination and having so much fun!
