Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment Review

Our review of the Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment. The Bepanthen kind-to-bums formulation is perfect for protecting your little ones skin!

We were asked recently to review Bepanthen’s Nappy Care Ointment. As with all babies and toddlers a good nappy cream is a must. We, as parents, want the best for our babies. That includes taking care of their skin.

Alfie had eczema as a baby. So we’ve always been really careful with what lotions and potions we choose.

Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment – How it works

The nappy care ointment forms a breathable, transparent layer. It gently protects delicate skin against the causes of nappy rash, caring for it with pro-vitamin B5. This gently aids the natural recovery of babies’ skin. However, it still manages to keep it soft and moisturised.

The Bepanthen kind-to-bums formulation is free from fragrance, preservatives, colours and antiseptics. Therefore meaning it can be used at every bedtime nappy change. Even on the most sensitive of skins. Babies’ skin is very absorbent and delicate, so needs a little extra care compared to adult skin.

The Best things about Bepanthen:
  • Helps babies delicate skin
  • Maintains moisture levels
  • No unnecessary ingredients
  • Contains no antiseptics or preservatives
  • Not greasy or thick

Bepanthen nappy care ointment is a cream that isn’t greasy and is easy to use. Some other nappy creams are thick, hard to use and get everywhere. However this is the opposite. Most babies and toddlers fight nappy changes so you need something you can apply quickly.

Dan put it perfectly when he used it, “It’s lots easier to use than others and you can rub it in”

Does it work?

The most important thing about a nappy cream is whether it actually works. You can rave about all the things it could do, but if it doesn’t then there is no point in buying it.

Bepanthen worked great for us and for Alfie. It’s kind to his skin, it’s easy to use and it helps if he’s got a sore bottom. What more do you need?

Even though Alfie has decided he wants to start potty training, we’ll still use it. It’ll definitely be used if there are more Baby Foxes too.

However, the only downside to this cream and I say it very lightly… Alfie can open it! Therefore he can squeeze it out! Hence my warning to you when you use it, DO NOT LEAVE IT AROUND TODDLERS! Well, not unless you want it to get on everything they touch!

At least it’s not greasy and you’ll be able to rub it into the TV they wipe it on…

Bepanthen it available to buy online and at most major supermarket chains, so when you next need some cream why not give it a try!
